I'm in a Macross Frontier mood, so I redrew my Alto + VF-25F chibi design with updated Alto art and a new Fighter mode reverse side Once the current design is fully sold out, I'll be replacing it with this version

ZENTRADI GERWALK MODE! ZENTRADI GERWALK MODE!
So this was my promise to myself... I would get the partner Macross Plus kit, the YF-21 here, to go with the YF-19 I already had, and I am NOT getting other Macross kits... (unlesstheyfinallydothefirstone) Just so I don't fall down yet another rabbit hole of kits.
Guld Goa Bowman's take on the next potential Advanced Variable Fighter is... BLUE! It's also different looking, more alien, as in the lore its developed from Zentradi tech, the Zentradi being the "evil" alien faction, of which Guld is half of (and half human). Hence the unit's less earth-jet-but-a-robot robot mode.
The kit is again very good, though due to its different physical shape, it feels a little less poseable then the YF-19 was, and there's a weird inconsistency in the joints, some are very tight and others are almost loose, which made posing the thang ding for the pictures a little frustrating at times.
The parts forming decision Bandai made was the right choice all day every day. These kits look just fucking correct in all three modes, and constitute some of the only kits where I kind of want to display them in "vehicle" mode, because the jets look so good, which is something I don't normally do. Also gerwalk mode is always a treat, and the kit's balance is so good it can pose under its own power quite well even in that silly silly mode.

People are so excited about the patch 8 and new subclasses and I can't understand it even a little bit. There is nothing less useful to the community than new subclasses! We can make you a new subclass in an hour! Every new subclass they're adding already exists as a mod!
Like, if they said they were adding Durge reactivity, or trying to actually bring Wyll and Karlach closer to content parity with the other Origins, or idek adding a background Jaheira/Nine-Fingers romance that you can trigger if you do things in the right order, or something, I could understand being pumped. That's shit that only Larian, with their access to voice actors, can reasonably do in deep detail and full polish, and therefore something to really look forward to.
But swashbuckler? You're writing excited reddit posts about rolling a swashbuckler? You could do that a year and a half ago on PC, and as early as patch 7 on console! Like don't get me wrong. There's no reason for Larian not to throw a couple days of man-hours of subclasses in with the bugfixes, I'm glad there's still at least one more patch too, but.
Swashbuckler!?

Funniest tabletop build I ever did was the one time I tried to recreate the feel of Ushivenger in 5e and it ended up being my go-to build to describe me building something dumb since the resulting build could attack 7 times with dual longswords by level 8

Rumble vs Ranger R7: Noah vs Yellow!
Rumble Fighter info here
Actiranger Info here
NOAH A mysterious student at Rival City University, Noah is a practitioner of shadow magic and has been seen investigating strange occurrences around the city. Noah is quiet, introverted, and sullen, with their literal Shadow as their closest friend. In combat Noah tends to let their shadow familiar do most of the fighting. The shadow has a wildly variable size and shape, and is able to mimic opponents to tease out their weaknesses. While Noah tends to remain stoic, the shadow expresses their excess emotions and subconscious instincts, both in battle and elsewhere.
ACTIRANGER YELLOW The plucky and optimistic sunshine friend of the ActiRanger team. Yellow is bright, earnest, and a little bit mischevious. Her ActiRanger abilities are based on table-tennis (The sport of lightning) granting her super-speed and a ping pong ball-lightning projectile that she can ricochet off her opponents. Her fighting style relies on lightning fast speed and mix-ups to confuse and overwhelm her opponents with a relentless barrage of strikes. A side-effect of the ActiRanger powers is a heightened metabolism and increased energy levels leaving her often somewhat insatiable (in more ways than one.)
